Belted Galloway Cattle
Originally bred in the rugged landscape of Scotland the Belted Galloway is a hardy breed of cattle that thrives on Cape Clear Island. Their docile nature, easy calving and good foraging instincts make them a pleasure to raise. Many of our animals continue on as breeding stock for other farms. Belted Galloway beef is high quality with excellent marbling providing superb flavor and nutrition.
Lleyn Sheep
We raise a small flock of Lleyn ewes and a Hampshire Down ram. Lleyn ewes are good mothers and can withstand gale force winds and heavy rain. We are proud to provide organic, grass fed lamb for local restaurants and our local community.
Honey Bees
Our honey is produced responsibly in small quantities to protect local wild bees from our honey bees.
Our scale only allows us to supply honey to island visitors and locals. Please come visit Cape Clear if you would like to buy our honey.
